Dex L10 HoodiaTry The New Dex L10 Hoodia There have been many Hoodia brands for assisting in weight loss for quite some time in the market but Delmar Labs is one of the oldest most respected names that manufacture Hoodia products. After Hoodia was introduced to the world by the Sixty minutes show in 2004, Delmar Labs was one of the pioneer labs that initiated research on Hoodia and made weight control products out of it. It is this company, which is the manufacturer of the famous Dex L10 Hoodia product range, which has been amongst the earliest Hoodia products and has therefore established a good market share for itself. The first Dex L10 Hoodia product that was introduced in the early 2005 was the diet pills, which came in a basic formulation of 500mg of Hoodia Gordonii. If you don’t know what it is, Hoodia Gordonii is a small cactus, which is dark green in color, just like a Canadian prickly cucumber. It grows in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa, and is also found in Namibia. The native san people have used it over centuries in order to curb their hunger, for it has the properties of suppressing the appetite. Clinical and lab tests have shown that this appetite suppression of Hoodia comes due to the presence of a chemical called the P57, which has the ability to stop the brain from issuing signals that cause cravings for food. The person therefore feels as if he has eaten enough and does not feel the urge to eat anything at all. Since the carbohydrate supply is discontinued, the body switches in to burn the extra fat and the person starts to lose extra weight. Only South African Hoodia Gordonii has the ability to suppress the hunger, as it is the only Hoodia species to possess the chemical P57. The second generation of Dex L10 Hoodia came in different formulations, ranging from 750 to 1000mg pills, powders and chews. The potency of Hoodia extract was increased in these products due to the fact that studies suggested that a dosage of less 750mg was known to cause tolerance in certain patients. And the need to address the seriously obese market was also being felt. The products not only diversified the existing product range, but also introduced more easy to use products, such as the Hoodia chews, which were marketed as a convenient to use dieting candy that could be taken whenever the need to suppress the hunger was being felt. All Dex L10 Hoodia products work very effectively and produce results within a period of two weeks of first use. They have the ability to suppress the appetite for up to eight hours with a single dosage and can normally decrease the calorie intake by as much as seventeen hundred calories a day. The products bear a C.I.T.E.S certificate which means that the Hoodia used in their manufacture is purchased from a certified vendor. Unfortunately, some of the new products in the range contain a proprietary blend, which does not state the amount of Hoodia that is used within them, casting a doubt on their performance.
